Correct for early Porsche 356 and Speedster meter applications. 6 volt 1.5 Watt BA7S base T6 globe. A little bigger than a .22 caliber bullet. This is the bulb used by VDO in instrument applications like speedometer tachometer oil pressure water temperature clock and more. If your classic has VDO gages it probably uses these bulbs. Base has 2 vertical bayonet mounting type "tabs" rather than straight cylindrical pegs. This 6v bulb was used in some Porsche autos with VDO gauges so this might be for many earlier Porsche and VW, BMW, Mercedes, Rolls Royce, Jaguar instrument apps.
